Tee Rails

Tee rail is the name given to the type of rail used for railroad tracks. These rails are also used for light overhead cranes, mining track, automated warehouse retrieval systems, and other industrial applications. All rails are classified by pounds per yard. For example a 115-lb. rail weighs 115-lbs. for every 3’ of length. This section of our catalog features tee rails ranging from 12-lb. to 141-lb. We can also supply you with a wide variety of good quality used rail, called “relay” rail, which can be used for applications where the speed and frequency of traffic do not warrant the extra expense of new rail.
